Foot and ankle

Podiatry

Diagnosis and treatment for the feet and ankles, from heel pain and flat feet to the foot complications of longer term conditions.

What this looks like here.

A podiatrist specialises in the care of the feet and ankles. That covers diagnosis, physical examination, and treatment, including minor surgery where it is needed.

Feet are where a lot of problems higher up the chain first show themselves, and where a lot of them start. Having podiatry in the same building as physiotherapy and chiropractic means a foot problem that is really a gait problem, or a knee problem that is really a foot problem, gets picked up rather than passed around.

Our podiatrist, Dr. Franke Vizintin, holds a B-Tech Honours degree in podiatry and is licensed with both the HPCSA and the NHRA.
