Frequently asked
Questions people ask
before booking.
Costs, insurance, referrals, and how to work out which of the five disciplines you actually need.
Good questions
Answers, in plain language.
What happens at my first visit?
You get a full history and physical assessment before any treatment starts. That matters here because the discipline you booked is not automatically the one you need, and the assessment decides whether you begin with chiropractic, physiotherapy, sports therapy, exercise rehabilitation or podiatry.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book an assessment directly with any of our teams. If what we find sits better with a different discipline in the building, we move you across rather than treating around it.
How much does treatment cost?
InTouch publishes its full rate card. A first physiotherapy consultation is 30 BD and a first chiropractic consultation is 40 BD, with follow ups and six session packages listed on the New Patients page. Confirm current rates when you book.
Do you accept my insurance?
InTouch works with ten insurance partners including GIG, GlobeMed, MedNet, MetLife, SAICO and SWAN. Coverage differs by plan and policy, so call the clinic on +973 1769 0100 and we will go through your specific cover with you.
Which practitioner should I book with?
If you are unsure, book an assessment and let it decide. That is the point of an integrated centre. If you already know you want a specific discipline or practitioner, you can ask for them directly.
Is InTouch accredited?
Yes. InTouch was the first integrated rehabilitation clinic in Bahrain to receive platinum level accreditation from the NHRA, the National Health Regulatory Authority, which it earned in 2023.
Do you work with sports teams and events?
Yes. InTouch has provided pitchside cover across rugby, Gaelic football, netball, boxing, motorbikes, swimming, marathons, triathlon, Iron Man, Spartan, volleyball and Formula One, and has been medical provider to the Bahrain Rugby Football Club and BSBK Ducati Superbikes.
Can someone come to my home?
Yes. Physiotherapy and manual therapy both offer home care visits of 50 minutes, charged at 50 BD, with six session packages available.
