Bahrain's first accredited integrated healthcare facility

Five disciplines, one plan.

Chiropractic, physiotherapy, sports therapy, exercise rehabilitation and podiatry, working from a single assessment. You get sent to the right practitioner, not the one you happened to book.

Our mission

Integrated care, and we mean the whole word.

InTouch opened in 2014 as the first centre of its kind in Bahrain, and the idea has not changed since. Most people arrive having already been passed between practitioners who never spoke to each other. Here the assessment comes first, and the plan draws on whichever of our five disciplines it actually needs.

Dr. Amy Bowzaylo founded the clinic after coming to chiropractic as a patient herself, following a neck injury in her gymnastics years. She holds a doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic West and has built InTouch into a centre serving patients from across the GCC.

“The team does not just treat symptoms. It treats the whole person.”

What we offer

Nine services, one assessment.

Education, rehabilitation and preventative care across five disciplines. Which one you need is a question the assessment answers, not one you have to work out first.

Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic Care

Spine and joints, Precise, hands-on care for the spine and joints, aimed at restoring how they move rather than masking how they feel.

How it works

Assessed properly, then treated.

  1. Assessment

A full history and physical assessment, because the discipline you booked is not automatically the one you need.

  2. Findings and plan

What we found, explained in plain terms, and an integrated plan that can draw on any of the five disciplines here.

  3. Treatment

Hands-on care from the practitioners the plan calls for, with the teams talking to each other rather than working in parallel.

  4. Rehabilitation

Exercise rehabilitation to rebuild strength and control, plus the prevention work that keeps you from coming back for the same thing.

What we stand for

Three commitments, published and kept.

  1. 01

    To Lead

Setting the standard for integrated care in the GCC, through staff education, research and the outcomes patients actually get.

  2. 02

    To Inspire

Getting practitioners and patients alike genuinely involved in the process, because the people who understand their plan are the ones who finish it.

  3. 03

    To Collaborate

Working with leading professionals and institutions to widen what integrated care can offer here, rather than treating in isolation.

We work with

The problems people actually bring us.

Every condition here is one InTouch names in its own published scope of practice, grouped the way patients tend to describe them.

“InTouch is an integrated rehabilitation centre. Care here is directed at restoring movement and function, and every plan begins with an individual assessment rather than an assumption about your diagnosis.”

The experience

One assessment, and everything follows.

The reason to put five disciplines in one building is that the plan can change as you do, without you starting over somewhere new.

Assessment first, then the right hands

One assessment determines which of the five disciplines you start with, and the teams talk to each other as the plan develops.

What patients say

253 reviews, and counting.

Rated 4.2 across 253+ Google reviews.

“I am currently having ongoing treatment at InTouch for my back issues, and so far I am over the moon with the service provided. Dr Amy and her team provide a 5 star service. My pain has been relieved significantly in just two visits. They went above and beyond at my last session, spending time to put my mind at ease and carry out the corrections needed, going that extra mile at no extra cost. Also very reasonable for the care provided. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.”

“I've been going to InTouch Clinic since it opened in 2014 and have to say I don't have any complaints. The staff and practitioners are not only friendly and professional, but they really know how to mend a broken body. I recommend Dr. Amy Bowzaylo, the head and founder of the clinic, highly. Overall a super integrated practice based on the lovely island of Bahrain.”

“After 10 years of arduous occupational stress on my body, I ended up having severe issues with multiple joints. I was in a lot of pain and wasn't even aware how severe it was until I came here. As a healthcare provider myself, I have sent multiple patients here and I finally understood why they loved this place so much. Over the last month I had several sessions with my physical therapists Christine and Lema. Today was my last session and it was very hard for me to leave.”

“I'd highly recommend InTouch to friends and family as one of the best care centres in Bahrain, starting from reception to consultation and treatment to follow ups. It was very patient oriented. A personal attention to detail was noted by Hussain Murad, physiotherapist, and Dr Amy, chiropractor.”

Good questions

Before your first visit.

What happens at my first visit?

You get a full history and physical assessment before any treatment starts. That matters here because the discipline you booked is not automatically the one you need, and the assessment decides whether you begin with chiropractic, physiotherapy, sports therapy, exercise rehabilitation or podiatry.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book an assessment directly with any of our teams. If what we find sits better with a different discipline in the building, we move you across rather than treating around it.

How much does treatment cost?

InTouch publishes its full rate card. A first physiotherapy consultation is 30 BD and a first chiropractic consultation is 40 BD, with follow ups and six session packages listed on the New Patients page. Confirm current rates when you book.

Do you accept my insurance?

InTouch works with ten insurance partners including GIG, GlobeMed, MedNet, MetLife, SAICO and SWAN. Coverage differs by plan and policy, so call the clinic on +973 1769 0100 and we will go through your specific cover with you.

Which practitioner should I book with?

If you are unsure, book an assessment and let it decide. That is the point of an integrated centre. If you already know you want a specific discipline or practitioner, you can ask for them directly.

Is InTouch accredited?

Yes. InTouch was the first integrated rehabilitation clinic in Bahrain to receive platinum level accreditation from the NHRA, the National Health Regulatory Authority, which it earned in 2023.
