Our services
Nine services across
five disciplines.
Education, rehabilitation and preventative treatment, delivered by chiropractors, physiotherapists, sports therapists, exercise rehabilitation specialists and a podiatrist working from one plan.
Where most people start.
Three disciplines account for most of what walks through the door, though the assessment decides which one is right for you.

01
Chiropractic Care
Precise, hands-on care for the spine and joints, aimed at restoring how they move rather than masking how they feel.

02
Physiotherapy
Restoring mobility, strength and confidence in how you move, with a plan built around your day rather than a generic protocol.

03
Functional Exercise Rehabilitation
Moving the question from where it hurts to why it hurts, then rebuilding the strength and control that keeps it from coming back.

Spine and joints
Chiropractic Care
A chiropractor is a primary care doctor who specialises in the health and function of the spine and the other joints of the body. That covers prevention, careful diagnosis, and non-invasive treatment of joint related discomfort.
The word chiropractic means done by hand, and that is still the heart of it. An adjustment is a precise, well-placed input to a joint that has stopped moving the way it should. When a joint stiffens after a fall or a heavy training week, it pulls on the muscles around it and can irritate nearby nerves, and problems tend to travel from there.
Adjustments are only part of it. Our chiropractors also use soft tissue work, movement and lifestyle advice, and nutritional guidance, and they work alongside the physiotherapy and sports therapy teams every day. When something falls outside their scope, they refer you on.
- Assessment before any treatment begins
- Adjustments to restore joint movement
- Soft tissue therapy alongside hands-on care
- Referral onward when that is the right call

Movement and function
Physiotherapy
A physiotherapist treats injuries and conditions that get in the way of movement. That means working on pain, balance, mobility and motor control, and doing it in a way that takes the whole person into account rather than one joint in isolation.
Our physiotherapists aim to restore functional mobility and strength, make daily activities easier, help you manage or reduce pain, and get you back to a more active routine. They are involved at every stage: preventing problems, treating them when they appear, and rehabilitating afterwards.
The team holds certifications in dry needling, kinesiology taping, spinal manual therapy, the Mulligan concept, IASTM, lymphoedema therapy, vestibular and BPPV rehabilitation, and concussion management through World Rugby.
- Assessment of how you actually move
- Hands-on manual therapy and dry needling
- Graded exercise you can keep doing at home
- Home care visits available

Active recovery
Functional Exercise Rehabilitation
Functional rehabilitation shifts the focus from treating the painful area to finding and addressing the reason it became painful. It is a core part of most care plans here, and its job is to return you to work and to the things you enjoy while leaving you better protected than before.
It takes standard exercise therapy further by adding agility and body awareness work, so that returning to activity does not come with a constant fear of the injury repeating.
Programmes are built for the individual. Age is not the limit: exercise rehabilitation is used for problems affecting bones, joints, muscles, nerves, and cardiorespiratory function. Every plan is written around your specific injury and the activities you actually want to get back to.
- Customised programmes, not a standard sheet
- Agility and awareness drills, not just strength
- Hydrotherapy in a warm water pool
- Built around the activities you want back

Athletes
Sports Rehabilitation
Sports physiotherapists focus on keeping athletes out of injury and getting them back when something goes wrong, working on muscle strains, joint problems and performance after injury. Sports chiropractors concentrate on realigning joints, balancing muscle work and correcting movement patterns.
At InTouch the two work together on the same athlete rather than in separate lanes. The physiotherapists bring injury assessment, therapeutic exercise, concussion management, taping and bracing. The chiropractors bring adjustment and manual therapy technique. Between them that covers most of what a returning athlete needs.
InTouch has been the medical provider for the Bahrain Rugby Football Club and BSBK Ducati Superbikes, and helped create the medical manuals for the Bahrain Triathlon.
- Sports physio and sports chiro on one plan
- Injury assessment and screening
- Concussion management certified through World Rugby
- Taping, bracing and return to play planning

Event cover
Pitchside Care
InTouch has years of experience providing pitchside physiotherapy, rehabilitation and first aid across a wide range of sports, including rugby, Gaelic football, netball, boxing, motorbikes, swimming, marathons, triathlon, Iron Man, Spartan, volleyball and Formula One.
On the day that covers sport specific assessment, fitness testing, soft tissue therapy including scraping and kinesio taping, pitchside first aid and CPR, concussion management, and immediate control of acute injuries.
Afterwards it becomes post match assessment and a management plan, then ongoing rehabilitation with a structured return to play and a prevention plan attached.
- Cover at the event, not just afterwards
- First aid, CPR and acute injury control
- World Rugby concussion management
- Post match assessment and return to play

Foot and ankle
Podiatry
A podiatrist specialises in the care of the feet and ankles. That covers diagnosis, physical examination, and treatment, including minor surgery where it is needed.
Feet are where a lot of problems higher up the chain first show themselves, and where a lot of them start. Having podiatry in the same building as physiotherapy and chiropractic means a foot problem that is really a gait problem, or a knee problem that is really a foot problem, gets picked up rather than passed around.
Our podiatrist, Dr. Franke Vizintin, holds a B-Tech Honours degree in podiatry and is licensed with both the HPCSA and the NHRA.
- Foot and ankle assessment
- Orthotic prescription
- Minor surgical procedures
- Alongside gait and movement assessment

Hands-on
Manual Therapy
Manual therapy uses the therapist's hands to encourage healing, settle symptoms and support general tissue health through applied pressure and movement. It is a gentle and proactive approach rather than an aggressive one.
Our manual therapists are trained professionals who work closely with the chiropractors and physiotherapists on the team, which is what keeps it part of a plan rather than a standalone treatment.
- Tailored pressure and movement
- Works with the wider care plan
- Sessions from 30 to 110 minutes
- Home care visits available

Cupping therapy
Hijama and Dry Cupping
Traditional hijama is offered at InTouch by a licensed hijama therapist. It is a long established practice that uses cupping to draw the skin, with small incisions to draw blood, and is used with the aim of easing pain and supporting circulation.
Dry cupping is the same family of treatment without the incisions. A vacuum is created inside the cup and placed on the skin to draw it upward. If you have noticed circular marks on a professional athlete's back, that is usually dry cupping.
Our physical therapists offer dry cupping as part of wellness and rehabilitation programmes where it is appropriate, rather than as a default.
- Licensed hijama therapist on staff
- Dry cupping within rehabilitation programmes
- Used where appropriate, not by default
- Certified practitioners across the team
