Meet the founder

Dr. Amy Bowzaylo, D.C.

Clinical Director and CEO

Dr. Amy is a pioneer of chiropractic care in Bahrain and the wider GCC. Born and raised in Athabasca, Alberta, she came to chiropractic the way a lot of practitioners do, as a patient first, after a serious neck injury during her gymnastics years.

She holds a doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic West and has built her practice around sports and women's health. She founded InTouch in 2014 and has grown it into an integrated care centre serving patients from across the GCC.

Our philosophy

Treat the person, not the symptom.

InTouch is a rehabilitation leader in the GCC because of a commitment to a holistic approach rather than because of any single technique. The team does not just treat symptoms. It works with the whole person, using education, rehabilitation and preventative strategies together.

That means the aim is not only to manage a condition but to leave you understanding it. Patients who know what their plan is for and why are the ones who finish it, and finishing it is what keeps people from coming back with the same problem.

Integrated

/ˈɪn.tɪ.ɡreɪ.tɪd/  ( adjective )

Chiropractic, physiotherapy, sports therapy, exercise rehabilitation and podiatry working from one assessment and one plan, under one roof.

  • To Lead

Setting the standard for integrated care in the GCC, through staff education, research and the outcomes patients actually get.

  • To Inspire

Getting practitioners and patients alike genuinely involved in the process, because the people who understand their plan are the ones who finish it.

  • To Collaborate

Working with leading professionals and institutions to widen what integrated care can offer here, rather than treating in isolation.

The National Health Regulatory Authority platinum level certificate of accreditation awarded to InTouch Clinic in 2023

Accreditation

Platinum standard,awarded 2023.

InTouch is the first integrated rehabilitation centre in Bahrain to hold platinum level accreditation from the NHRA, the National Health Regulatory Authority. It was awarded in 2023, and the clinic describes it as the authority's highest level.

Accreditation is not a marketing badge. It is an external audit of how a clinic documents, governs and delivers care, and it has to be maintained.

Sponsorships and partnerships

InTouch has been medical provider to the Bahrain Rugby Football Club and BSBK Ducati Superbikes, helped write the medical manuals for the Bahrain Triathlon, and supports the Bahrain E-sports Federation and local judo.

  • Bahrain Rugby Football Club
  • Bahrain E-sports Federation
  • Young judo athletes supported by InTouch Clinic

Take a look around

The clinic, as it actually is.

Al Wesam Center in Block 575, where five disciplines share one building and one set of notes.

How it works

A clear path from first visit onward.

The same sequence every new patient goes through, so you always know what happens next.

  1. Step One

    Assessment

A full history and physical assessment, because the discipline you booked is not automatically the one you need.

  2. Step Two

    Findings and plan

What we found, explained in plain terms, and an integrated plan that can draw on any of the five disciplines here.

  3. Step Three

    Treatment

Hands-on care from the practitioners the plan calls for, with the teams talking to each other rather than working in parallel.

  4. Step Four

    Rehabilitation

Exercise rehabilitation to rebuild strength and control, plus the prevention work that keeps you from coming back for the same thing.

Come and see

Book an assessment with the team.

One assessment, and the plan follows from what we actually find.
